Redistricting Principle(s) Prioritized: Good Government

This is a good government plan that primarily aims to preserve county lines and other political subdivisions. The planned districts are reasonably compact, have perfect population equality, and leave only four counties divided. Additionally, the map complies with federal and state redistricting laws. Note that Iowa law requires state House and state Senate districts to be contained within congressional districts, where possible. As of 10/17/2021, the most recent proposals for new state legislative maps have been rejected, so I was unable to take this requirement into consideration for this plan.
