This map attempts to change the current district lines as little as possible. Since Colorado gained a district this cycle, substantial changes to the existing lines were necessary. Most of the changes surround Denver and Colorado Springs. The new district, District 8, is located in El Paso County, and District 5 is pushed upward towards the Denver area as a result.
